MOTION PROCESS

DESIGN

In the first stage of constructing and finding ideas, I experimented with type, image, and graphic elements to find the essence of what makes for their names. This freeplay would eventually pave the way to creating a concrete idea and direction I want to put my poster into.

See, Communicate, and Connect was a direction that I wanted to take, and I wanted to highlight the importance of each figure by indicating what they created, symbolism, and how they portrayed it in their name.

I then started to create drafts of my poster. Starting with simpler designs, breaking it down, and reimagine the piece further.

I wanted to create space for the poster to breathe, and distance between each element. So I created variations compiling those variances. I decided to go for the one with the most space, and I wanted to add images and symbolisms.

I found these images and color coded them and edited them to fit to what I want to create. The colors I chose were analogous.
I think using color as the main differentiator would make the posters pop well, and simply changing the background color of the whole poster would extremely help in its layout as well as bring its correlation with the simplicity of the structure. These color contrasts bring the extreme element of direction and cohesiveness towards the series.
