THRIVE OR DIE is a collective of LGBTQIA+ creatives, musicians, artists, and designers, set to create momentous charity events, empower BIPOC voices, uplift underground music producers, and create waves with no compromise. THRIVE OR DIE was first founded by NONSTOPPUP, and with his group of friends raised this movement together as a vision to shape 'what-ifs' into realities.
We have made charity events such as NONSTOPWORLD, Beasts from the East, and built our own record label.

NONSTOPWORLD 2 amassed $4300 for COVID-19 relief and the NAACP, a civil rights organization in the United States, formed in 1909 as an interracial endeavor to advance justice for African Americans. The event had a massive POC-representative line-up that spanned into 2 days, and was themed after the Olympics.
The event took place on July 18 – July 19, 2020. There were 2800+ members, 2100+ concurrent Minecraft users, and 1300+ unique concurrent listeners.

The lineup poster takes into account for the typical Olympics digital scorecard. We wanted to include nationalities, and time slots effectively, so the replication from the Olympics scoreboard to the DJ lineup would be a perfect balance.

NONSTOPWORLD 1 amassed $775 that was donated to The Trevor Project, a non-profit organization helping suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youths. The event also promoted world culture, where music could bring people internationally into an unforgettable celebration.
The event took place on April 6, 2019, for 6 hours. There were 900+ members, 400 logged on Minecraft users, and 500+ concurrent listeners.

I incorporated pixelated structures, text, and easy way finding for fellow users to explore for the NONSTOPWORLD map
Structures were built by the whole THRIVE OR DIE TASK FORCE in NONSTOPWORLD: April 6, 2019
The whole map took 4-6 months of block by block building, and 1 year of event planning.

I aided heavily on building the server world with my friends from scratch on a sandbox platform game, Minecraft, where I tested my creative abilities to create monuments, parks, roller coaster rides, and a hotel only by using blocks of cubes. The server structures was created mouse-made in a span of 4-5 months. I also gave game consultation for my fellow builders who were unexperienced in the game.
Being a part of this event taught me the extreme work that is showcased in various events. Creating everything behind the scenes was an arduous process that kept me awake at night. Teamwork and communication was vital from the beginning of the plot, towards the final hours of the festival itself. Though this, creating a magical experience for many people has been nothing but special, and it brings me to tears to see the impact it has given to the online community.
Beasts From The East was a charity stream event that was held on May 1, 2022. The 4-hour long stream showcased introspective experiences, and interviews with Asian LGBTQIA+ members in the community, and sharing their personal stories and experiences. The stream also showcased talent through music performances, and dance performances.
This event is in support of the #STOPASIANHATE movement, an raised over $2400 to Asian Americans Advancing Justice.
